The interest in high mountain archaeology is barely 20 years old. Before 2000 we had no archaeological sites in the Park, now we have more than 370.

The experts assure that life in these mountains existed and goes back as far as 10,000 years (Cal ANE). Since then there have been meteorological changes, which have modified the way of populating these areas, but still we find signs of life at altitudes above 2500 meters.

Thanks to the work of great archaeologists who have dedicated themselves exclusively to this archaeology, we can have some idea of what these inhabitants were like, and visit the unique sites.

Guided outings are accompanied by an archaeologist and a mountain guide. The routes that include the services of a mountain refuge, the hiring and the cost is included in the price. Accident and Civil Responsibility insurance is also  included in the price.

Our routes require a good physical condition and good equipment. Before departure we send information about the route as well as the list of things to bring. We are in contact to keep all the participants perfectly informed.
