This environment, made of granite, slate and schist, is dotted with more than 200 lakes that create a wealth of fauna and flora as their waters flow. Sculpted by its glacial origin, with sharp ridges, glacial cirques, hanging valleys or cube-shaped lakes, it is very well preserved, especially because part of this territory was conceived as a National Park in 1955, and the area of the Aragonese Ribagorza region has been a Natural Park since 1994.
A hike through these territories can take time, we can spend just a day or go for a seven days route, you can choose your ideal route. Good planning is necessary.
Mountain refuges are prepared to provide a comfort service, sometimes much superior to what one in the mountains expects. But we won't complain, it's a pleasure to be able to stay while you're on a route.
The shelters are equipped with shared rooms, bathrooms and showers. They offer half board or full board service, we take care of booking everything as far in advance as possible.
Our tours include accident and liability insurance and lodging (if the tour includes it). They do not include cabs or transportation to the meeting point, extra drinks at the refuge or snacks and drinks on days that are not specifically included.
